The
horror/comedy
DEAD COUNTRY is currently in production in the
canyons and canals of country Victoria in Australia.
The films stars rocker Mandy Kane (one of Australia’s most popular rock
singers) as as a bong-hitting country boy, the infamous El Vez, sexpot Delphine and Christopher Showerman
(CSI Miami). Now we just got an exclusive first look at the film’s

Here’s the film’s synopsis to refresh your memories:
When a space ship containing hazardous material explodes over a small rural
town, a deadly virus is unleashed upon the population, turning them in to
zombies. Only the alien being responsible for the terrible accident and a small
group of survivors can stop the epidemic from spreading, but first they have to
survive the experience.
Writer/director Andrew Merkelbach is hoping that his tongue-in-cheek horror film will catch on with genre buffs the same way The Spierig Bros’ ‘Undead’ did. Merkelbach
is also producing the picture while Clint Morris of ShorrisFilms is Executive
Producing.
