While reviews for the release of
last weekend’s
GRINDHOUSE were mixed, one thing is for sure;
visually the film looked awesome!
From Cherry’s gun toting leg, to
Danny Trejo’s Gatling gun infused chopper, the film’s f/x looked great. So
awesome in fact that it took multiple f/x companies, Troublemaker Digital and
The Orphanage, to bring us this glorious
GRIND.
Well
VFX World.com managed to catch up with the
folks behind the amazing effects, and while I’ve never been real interested in
the technical aspect of the business, I found the article to be incredibly
interesting.
