Zombies After Dark

Last year After Dark Horrorfest hit it big with it’s 8 films to die for, and now that those 8 films have finally hit DVD, they’re already on their quest to find flicks for this year’s festival, a line-up that, so far, only includes CAPTIVITY. ComingSoon had a chance to chat with AN AMERICAN HAUNTING director and After Dark head Courtney Solomon over the weekend, who revealed that another film is being worked on for the horrorfest that includes the hottest of hot in horror: zombies.

It’s a cross between humans and zombies, with a whole new lore and a whole new take on zombies – the powers they have and how fast they move. They’re no longer shambling. They are fast, furious and dangerous and they have a whole emotional side to them and conflict. It’s a completely different take on zombies than anybody’s done.

Just when I thought I was getting sick of the latest dose of zombie flicks, I hear something like this that totally piques my interest and gets me excited again! Since Solomon is head of After Dark Films, so it likely won’t be him directing, as heading something like After Dark leads little time for anything else.

To check out the full scoop, in which Solomon describes it as being a zombie movie similar to another vampire/werewolf movie, go ahead and click HERE, and stick around as we wait to find out what the title of this badass sounding zombie flick will be, and who exactly will be directing it.
