The boys at had a chance to chat it up with Agent Dana Scully herself, Gillian Anderson, during a promotional tour of her upcoming flick STRAIGHTHEADS. During their interview, they couldn’t help but ask her if she’s heard anything about an X-FILES sequel… and this is what she had to say:
They’re starting to talk about doing a feature again. Every year or two they talk about it again, but it seems like it might be for real this time. Somehow it seems like somebody’s really serious about it. I know that Chris’ lawsuit with Fox is over, so maybe now it can be done.
Serious about a sequel? Oh, I’m sorry… I think I just blew a load… That’s right folks, it looks like an X-FILES 2 be in the works! And the best part of it all? It sounds as if it’ll be more along the lines of a horror flick than a little-green-men Sci-Fi flick! An X-FILES sequel!!! If that didn’t just make your day, I don’t know what will!
