Not very often do “TV spots” get my cinematic labido going, there just too short most of the time. But the two new exclusive TRANSFORMERS spots over at IGN.com not only got my cinematic labido going, they made me change my cinematic underwear too!
Maybe it’s the geek in me or something, but seeing Optimus Prime starting to transform out of the big rig and into the ass-kicking leader of the Autobots is awesome, even if we only get to see a second of it. Not only is that shot great, but there are some pretty action packed sequences in these spots too.
Man, the summer movie lineup was looking good to begin with, but now with TRANSFORMERS looking as hip as it is, this summer is going to rock, I’m already marking July 4th as the day that my childhood and my adulthood meet up to see our old hero Optimus kick some ass.
