Thankfully the new DAY WATCH posters have hit the states, so now I don’t have to use a Russian version anymore and run the risk exposing my Soviet ties; which of course would get me immediately deported. (Shh! The CIA is always on the prowl.)
If you aren’t in the “know” and are confused about DAYWATCH, it’s the sequel to last year’s horror/action flick NIGHT WATCH, which I thought was pretty cool.
It appears that the story takes off right from where the first film left off, with the soldiers of light battling the warriors of darkness; but now for possession of the “Chalk of Fate”, which controls destiny. As of now the film is looking at a June 1st release.
Anyways, these posters are looking pretty damn good. It makes me miss the days when I worked at an independent movie theater and I had access to the movie posters when the film was done playing at the theater. Back then I would rig the vents in my manager’s office with sleeping gas and wait for the bastard to fall a sleep. Then, after a great deal of patience, I would make my move and take all the posters I wanted! Good times…good times.
