Unfortunately we won’t be seeing a Leatherface vs. Michael Myers vs. Jason movie…but if we did we all know Michael Myers would win by default since he is the only one of the three who isn’t clinically retarded; but that’s beside the point. So back to the point, there is no super team up movie, but instead, we will be seeing the actors who play/played those characters team up in a film called THE FOREST.
So in order to negate the semi-confusing lead I’ll recap the news: Gunnar Hanson (Tobe Hooper’s Leatherface), Tyler Mane (Rob Zombie’s Michael Myers), and Kane Hodder (Jason) are all acting together outside of their iconic characters who all have the common traits of slaying innocent teenagers. THE FOREST will be produced by Salkinds, and the FX man behind the 1978 version of DAWN OF THE DEAD, Tom Savini will be on board as well. As for the plot, details are thin, but we do know this: college kids are going to get their asses handed to them out in the woods by some terrorizing force.
