The sequel to last year’s stylized vamp/weird-uncatagorizable monster flick NIGHT WATCH
is now available and looks badass. I remember watching the trailer for NIGHT WATCH and thinking “God damn, that looks awesome,” – and the DAY WATCH trailer evoked the same boxer-brief explosion out of me.

It appears the story takes off right from where the first film left off, with the soldiers of light battling the warriors of darkness; but now for possession of the “Chalk of Fate”, which controls destiny. As of now the film is looking at a June 1st release, but until then you can check out the trailer
