Maybe it’s the success that Eli Roth is having these days or the fact that the first
CABIN FEVER was a hilarious gorefest, but either way the sequel that is titled CABIN FEVER 2: SPRING BREAK, is now well on it’s way to the big screen. In fact, a few new actors have been announced in addition to the previously reported thespians (if you wanna call them that) that joined the sequel.
Apparently Rider “no I wasn’t in Boy Meets World, I swear!” Strong and Giuseppe Andrews will be the two actors returning from the first film. That’s odd, I could have swore that I saw Strong’s character die a horrible and painful death in the first film, but in horror – who stays dead? The other actors that have been added to the sequel are Judah Friedlander, Mark Borchardt, Larry Fessenden, Noah Segan, Alexi Wasser, Marc Senter and Rusty Kelley. Yeah, I know – not an exciting grouping of names, right? Well, either way director Ti West has already begun the principal photography out in North Carolina.
Apparently in the sequel, the flesh eating virus that makes for moments of great comedic relief will make its way up and out of the woods and into a high school prom. Hmm…yet another reason to avoid the punch…and to wear condoms after prom.
