New Orfanato poster

While I haven’t heard of this film
before today, after doing a little research and seeing these posters and teaser
trailer, I’m pretty stoked about seeing this film.

Apparently being produced by
Guillermo del Toro and directed by Juan Antonio Bayona, EL ORFANATO (The
Orphanage in English) is about a woman named Laura who
returns to the house where she was raised, and decides to transform it into an
orphanage. Soon, her son, Simón, makes an invisible friend, but what is this
friend really only her son’s imagination?

Looking like a cool ass haunted
house flick in the trailer seen
here,
the new posters (like the one seen above) make this film look even cooler.

Rumor has it that the trailer was
shown before
Pan’s Labyrinth
at the Sitges film festival,
but I’m not sure of the validity of that. To check out the new posters that were
just released click
here
to see a couple of them at 24 frames per
second. You can also see some stills at the Del Toro fan site

here
.

If anyone has additional info about this cool looking flick, spit some bullets
below to help school the rest of us!
