Ali Larter is a babe. Some may even go as far as saying that she’s a robobabe, or if she was a president she’d be Baberham Lincoln, but for all sense and purposes, we’ll just say that she’s a babe. And a kick ass babe, at that, as she gears up to be seen as ‘the other’ ass-kicking hero in the upcoming RESIDENT EVIL: EXTINCTION. But just what is her character up to in this 3rd installment?
SciFi Wire had a chance to chat with Larter on her role, and she gave quite a lot of insight as to who her character is, and why she kicks as much ass as she does. Check it: I play a character called Claire Redfield, and she’s a really strong, confident individual. You know, they’re living in a post-apocalyptic world, so there’s not really time for emotions or feelings or things like that to come into play. You could maybe think that she’s hard, but the truth is she has to hold it together for everyone. You know, she plays the mother to some, the leader to others. She definitely takes on the different roles that she needs to, and I think that’s probably something that I liked most about her and the idea of playing her.
Cool… but will she get naked? I mean, it is set in the hot desert, I’m sure she has to cool off a bit at some point, right? Well, even if she doesn’t get naked, at least she’ll be sweaty! Larter also goes into her thoughts on how cool it is the movie has two female-as-hero leads, which you can check out by clicking HERE for the full scoop. While I wasn’t a huge fan of the previous two films in the series, the trailer for this one has already given me a boner, so you know I’ll be first in line to check it out. RESIDENT EVIL: EXTINCTION (don’t call it RE: 3!) hits theaters September 21st, 2007.
