If there’s one thing I love, it’s a true and blue old fashioned slasher movie. I’m not sure if it’s all the blood and gore, or the T&A, or just the plain fun and campyness of it all, but slashers seriously float my boat like no other. Which makes Frank Montag’s upcoming German horror flick SLASHER just about number one on my plate!
Montag had a chance to sit down and talk with Fangoria, as well as premiere the film’s new poster and first image from the film, featuring the always hot Christiane Imdahl. SLASHER’s a throwback to all the classic slasher films of the 80s and according to the director “It features ample amounts of extreme splatter and nudity in an attempt to recapture the vibe of a traditional slasher film.”
I couldn’t have asked for anything more… and my birthday’s not even until November! While a blood splattered hottie is always good in my book, the poster here is somewhat lame and reminds me a little too much of HIGH TENSION for its own good.
