Working Title pictures brings us yet
another sweet ass flick, this one entitled GONE and it is looking to be a
major creep fest.
We got word today that GONE
will be hitting the shores of the U.K. and Ireland come March 9th, making it
lucky for them and shitty for us. GONE is the latest in psychological
thrillers from Working Title, and while it seems pretty run of the mill from the
synopsis, after watching the trailer I’m totally convinced that this movie will
be pretty cool and very different.
The story behind GONE is
that college kids Alex and Sophie are fulfilling their
dream of backpacking through Australia when they become involved with a
charismatic American called Taylor. Accepting his offer of friendship and his
car, the three set off into the outback, but the further they go the more
suspect and sinister Taylor’s motives for imposing his friendship becomes.
Now I know this may seem like a
tired story line of some people taking a ride from a nice stranger that ends up
being insane, but the trailer really does portray something different. To see
