We received a nice heads up over the weekend that IESB is hosting a buttload of new clips for a couple of three upcoming movies, and if they don’t move you into being at least somewhat excited, I don’t know what will!
First up, they’re sporting 9 Clips from David Fincher’s upcoming ZODIAC, starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Mark Ruffalo, Robert Downey Jr., and Anthony Edwards. Yes, you heard that right. 9 clips. Is it enough to feel like you’ve already seen the movie, or just enough to whet your appetite? I’m leaning towards the later, as it looks like the effort being put forth here is top notch from everyone involved, and damnit… I love David Fincher movies! Next we have another 9 clips from the ass kicking Sparta adventure 300, featuring all those lines you’ve been reciting under your breath since you saw the first trailer a few months ago. Badass wouldn’t be close to describing this, but if there was one word you’d have to use, that would be it: Badass. Plus, there’s 2 featurettes on the film, including an IMAX first-look that makes me thank my lucky stars I live by an IMAX theater. To have fun dining in hell, go ahead and click HERE.
Last and possibly least, there are (yep, you guessed it) 9 clips from this Friday’s GHOST RIDER, featuring Nic Cage and the lovely Eva Mendes. Every time I see stuff from this film, the less I want to see it. It just looks… bad. Real bad. Crappy, if you will. So be warned about checking these out, although it could just end up saving you 10 bucks this weekend, once you realize that you could likely wait for DVD, and you wouldn’t really be missing anything. There you have it! That should’ve wasted about a half hour of your morning (and time well spent at that!), and now it’s time to start your week off right. ZODIAC hits theaters March 2nd, while 300 is blasting its way everywhere (and in IMAX too) March 9th, and GHOST RIDER is gonna see if this is one comic adaptation that doesn’t suck this Friday, February 16th.
