This may be possibly the best news I’ve heard all
week. Today Fangoria reported
here that has been picked up by
Twisted Pictures and is looking for a 2008 release. How sweet is that!
is the pet project of director
Darren Lynn Bousman, and is
a musical about a future where organs are harvested and
sold through GENECO, a corporation making a pretty penny after an epidemic of
organ failures sweeps through the world. Those who can’t pay up fall victim to
the nihilistic methods of the Repo Men.
Earlier this year Bousman created a demo reel to
get investors on board, and used genre talent like
Michael Rooker and Shawnee Smith. No word yet on what casting
will be like or if these two are even onboard, but based on what the costume
looks like above, does it really matter who wears them as long as there filled
out?
