Jamie Blanks rocked our worlds with URBAN LEGENDS and VALENTINE back in the late 90s, early 00s, when SCREAM-like slashers were hot, and so was Tara Reid. Well, da man’s back at it again with another horror flick, though he’s steering away from the slasher and into a more psychological horror with STORM WARNING. Today we have a glimpse at one of the first one-sheets for the, and boy does it look good!

If you head over to THIS FATBOY’S BLOG, you can check out the creative process behind making the poster for the flick, which is attempting to find distribution. It’s also a nice inside-look at the aches and pains of marketing a film to buyers, with one quote that really stuck out for me: At the start you’re creating marketing materials to appeal to the buyers of films, not the final audience. Wow. That’s deep.

STORM WARNING goes a bit like this: A yuppie couple lost in a swamp seek refuge at an isolated farmhouse only to discover they’ve jumped out of the frying pan into the fire. Intrigued yet? I know I am! And yeah… the poster here is pretty flippin’ awesome too!

To check out the poster in a more hi-res format, go ahead and click HERE, and keep yer eye out for STORM WARNING, which is currently looking for distribution.
