Don’t go any further than right here to check out the brand spankin’ new trailer for Danny Boyle’s follow up to 28 DAYS LATER entitled SUNSHINE. It’s a sci-fi thriller that is lookin’ to be one intense ride, and judging from the trailer below… maybe one of the better sci-fi movie’s to come out in the last decade.
If you live on the sun and don’t know what I’m talkin’ about, check it: Fifty years from now, the sun is dying, and mankind is dying with it. Our last hope: a spaceship and a crew of eight men and women. They carry a device which will breathe new life into the star. But deep into their voyage, out of radio contact with Earth, their mission is starting to unravel. There is an accident, a fatal mistake, and a distress beacon from a spaceship that disappeared seven years earlier. Soon the crew is fighting not only for their lives, but their sanity.
SUNSHINE stars Cillian Murphy, Michelle Yeoh and Chris Evans, and is looking to hit theaters this spring. Color me blown away, but this flick looks rockin’! No wonder he passed up 28 WEEKS LATER to helm this ride! Watch the trailer below
