Have you ever felt that your neighbors are serial killers? Sometimes I’m pretty flippin’ sure this one family across the street from me just ‘ain’t right’, though as of this writing, I don’t have any proof they’re up to something creepy inside. Which, in reality, probably entails eating hot dog/Twinkie sandwiches in bed, or something equally bizarre.
Maybe this is why the new Shia LaBeouf and David Morse psuedo-slasher flick DISTURBIA looks so cool. See, it’s about this kid under house arrest who takes up spying on his neighbors as a hobby… cause he can’t leave the house and all. And what starts out as a teeny-boppy sex comedy of sorts, it sharply turns into ‘hey look, that dude across the street just killed some chick’ kind of movie. Yeah. It’s lookin’ pretty awesome.
Maybe it’s the fact that Morse is playing the psychopath across the street, or that co-star Sarah Roemer is hot… whatever the reason, the flick looks surprisingly cool as hell, and I can’t flippin’ wait to check it out! Yes, it’s another PG-13 horror flick (at least, that’s my guess), but at least it isn’t a remake!
To check out all the fun, go ahead and click HERE (be sure to check out the new images for the flick as well while you’re there), and prepare to be stuck in DISTURBIA in theaters everywhere April 13th.
