Pak & Song for Evil

We got word this morning that Park Chan-wook, director of the acclaimed OLDBOY, has his sites on his next project, the vampire horror epic EVIL LIVE. That news has been floating around for a while now, but here’s a little tid-bit of something new to gnaw on… Song Kang Ho has been cast in the flick!

Song, who stared in this past year’s THE HOST, is set to play a priest… who’s infected with the vampire ‘curse’. Nice- nothing like a vampire priest to lighten things up a bit!

This is pretty sweet news, especially for those who have been waiting for Chan-wook to come out with something horrorific to sink our teeth into- and a vampire epic sounds just about right! Plus, Song did a pretty bang up job in THE HOST, so it’s no doubt he’ll kick our asses here… and as a priest, no less! Count me in!

Production is slated to start within the next couple of months, so keep it here, as we’ll keep you posted on all of your EVIL LIVE (or BAT, depending on who you talk to) as we haer it!
