Behind Boogey 2

Don’t you hate when sequels are made to movies that totally sucked the first time around? Just the idea of greenlighting crap over something original just boggles my mind- and yeah, it pisses me off too!

Though sometimes there’s an exception (read The Arrow’s review of WHITE NOISE 2: THE LIGHT), most times… not so much. So when they decided they’d go ahead with the sequel to 2005’s BOOGEYMAN, my heart sank and so did my expectations for the film. And today, with all new behind the scenes footage, it looks like this is one project that’s full steam ahead.

See, I had hopes that they’d realize that a BOOGEYMAN 2 was a bad idea and can the whole thing… but alas, no such luck. If you head over to the GHOST HOUSE OFFICIAL WEBSITE, you can check out the clip, which features director Jeff Betancourt talking about casting the film, and prepping the cast for all their special effect prosthetics.

Meh. That’s all I can really say right now. Meh. To check it out, click HERE, and stick around as I’m sure there will be more and more clips from BOOGEYMAN 2 as production movies ever onward.
