Anne Hathaway is one up and coming star that I just can’t get enough of- she’s hot, she’s talented, and with PASSENGERS, she’s gonna hit up the genre by storm and show us she has what it takes to make it in anything- be that horror or comedy.
The Hollywood Reporter got the official word this morning that Patrick Wilson, the pedophile from HARD CANDY, has joined the cast of PASSENGERS, and will star as one of the plane survivors and love interest to Hathaway. Now how do you like that- goes from wanting to nail an underage girl, to wanting to nail Anne Hathaway… I’d say this dude is moving up in the world!
Directed by Rodrigo Garcia, the flick is about a grief counselor who helps six plane crash survivors and develops a special connection with one of them. When the survivors begin to disappear mysteriously, she suspects a conspiracy and becomes determined to uncover the truth.
It’s like FINAL DESTINATION mixed with something else. Very cool stuff, and watching Hathaway do her thing is always nice… Stick around for more casting news for PASSENGERS as we hear it!
