We got the heads up today about a
video interview that’s now online

here
at IESB.net with

PUNISHER
star Thomas Jane. Now in the interview Jane talks about the
planned
PUNISHER
  sequel. Oh and I
think he may be drunk in the interview!.

When asked about the
PUNISHER
sequel, Jane said that it will
definitely be darker, and headed for that ‘hard R’ (Thank God!).He also said
that it will feature Jigsaw as the main enemy. For those unaware, Jigsaw was a
familiar face in the Punisher comic series. Jane also mentions that Stuart
Beattie will be working on the script.

Jane was also
asked about the film MIST that he will be working on with Frank Darabont. Jane
talks about it, but doesn’t reveal too much that hasn’t already been circulating
for the last couple of weeks except that the guys behind the special effects on

PAN’S LABYRINTH
will be doing the f/x in MIST.

And as a side note, I really do think Jane may be drunk. Either that or he’s just really bad
at speaking on the spot without a script. Either way the interview is definitely
worth the watch. Click

out.
