Here’s a flick I hadn’t even heard of until today, but that sure as shit doesn’t mean that I don’t wanna check it out! It’s called ALONE WITH HER, and it’s making its world premiere at the IFC Theater in New York on January 17th. Is it worth checking out? Read on!
The concept here is cool, as the whole story is told through the eyes of hidden surveillance cameras, taking the title of ‘stalker’ to a whole new level. Check it: Told entirely through the perspective of hidden surveillance cameras placed and manipulated by a stalker (Colin Hanks), ALONE WITH HER is the harrowing story of a disturbed young man’s attempts to win the affections of an unsuspecting young woman as she becomes the object of his obsession and ceaseless gaze.
Creepy! And I bet after watching it, you may just be ready for a nice, long cold shower… or a scolding hot one! Presented by IFC First Take and the Weinstein Company, ALONE WITH HER not only premieres at the IFC Theater, but will also be premiering simultaneously with Video On Demand! Now how’s that for perfecting marketing for a film like this?
