To go along with the exclusive BLACK X-MAS clip that we recently scored (check it out HERE), today we were provided with even more clips from the remake. Will it suck? Will it blow? Will it swallow? We have to wait until Christmas Day to truly find out, but none-the-less, these clips should hold ya over just a bit in the mean-time.
The clips below aren’t horrible, though they do suggest that the flick is going to be just like all the other slasher flicks from the late 1990s, post-SCREAM-era. With HUGE emphasis on the ringing phone (almost like the WHEN A STRANGER CALLS remake…bugh…), and all sorts of other stereotypical slasher crap that is funny and likable in movies from the 80s, but somehow comes off stupid by today’s standards.
My Johnson tells me I’m gonna like it, because as the setting is a house full of super-hot sorority girls, it has the makings of being every guy’s sex-filled co-ed fantasy. But my heart tells me it’s gonna live up to the hype and be a pile of crap, as I haven’t heard anything positive about this flick yet. Let’s hope it bombs the big one, and studios stop remaking classic slasher flicks (ha! that’ll be the day!).
