One of the baddest men on the planet, Matt, hit us up today with an update consisting of a teaser trailer and new poster he received from producer/writer/director Anthony Falcon and his little ditty, 99 PIECES.
For those not up to speed on the flick, 99 PIECES revolves around a man (played by Falcon) who wakes up from an unhappy marriage to find his wife gone and a booklet left behind, explaining if her ever wants to see her again he will have to lock and board himself inside his own house for 40 days and 40 nights, while he uncovers a puzzle consisting 99 pieces that reveals his wife’s abductors.
As well, Falcon gave us a little more detail on the film itself, explaining that he wanted to go the route of THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE, in that “it looked like it could be real footage.” Case in point: The dude boarded up his own house, destroyed the inside and refused to eat, and filmed the entire thing for the movie. Ah, directors and their dedication.
