Black XMas is Final

The Weinstein Co. just sent over the final one sheet for Glen Morgan’s remake of BLACK CHRISTMAS, and while the word around the campfire says the movie blows ass, I must say that I’m diggin’ all the marketing efforts they’re putting forth here- based on the posters and trailer, I’d say this flick doesn’t look half bad!

The final one sheet here is pretty slick- part THE HILLS HAVE EYES, part nasty fruitcake your aunt Edna always sends via FedEx. One question I have- has the title been changed to BLACK X-MAS, or are they just trying to be cute? I’m guessing the big red X is just more menacing than, say, a big red CHRIST… either way, they hit the jackpot with this one! And yes… even the cheesy tag line leaves me with a silly grin

So will all the marketing hijinks reflect the final product, or do we have another genre piece that looks awesome but falls flat upon delivery (PULSE)? I guess we’ll just have to wait until December 15th to find out.
