For the umpteenth remake of the year, the remake of BLACK CHRISTMAS is one that I’m half-way looking forward to. Call me a marketing whore, but I’m diggin’ the film’s teasers and posters- and for the most part, Glen Morgan & James Wong tend to make some ‘entertaining’ movies (FINAL DESTINATION, WILLARD). Not to mention that it’s about a serial killer stalking a house of sorority girls on Christmas night. Seriously, how cool is that?
But it’s a remake, and should therefore be splashed with gasoline and set on fire- I get it and I agree- this movie shouldn’t have been made, but seeing as it has and there’s nothing I can do about it, I might as try to enjoy it. Though if it turns out anything like WHEN A STRANGER CALLS, I’m gonna want my money and time back.
