Another Ep2 delay

In what’s become a common occurrance for the HALF-LIFE franchise, the next HALF-LIFE 2 expansion looks to have been delayed until the middle of next year. According to ComputerAndVideoGames.com, the next expansion pack for HL2, titled EPISODE 2 (which will also be released combined with the first expansion and the original HALF-LIFE 2 for the XBOX 360 and soon-to-be-released PlayStation 3), now has a summer 2007 target date.

This news shouldn’t be surprising to fans of Valve’s award-winning shooter, since the expansion (which also includes Valve’s own interpretation of the Portal technology and the resurrected Team Fortess 2 mods) was originally set to be released near the end of this year, then slipped to the beginning of next year. No reason has been given for the delay, but hey, it’s Valve, so it’s another one of those perfectionist projects of theirs.
