Who wants a fever

The dudes over at Fangoria have
indulged our curiosity by delivering some exciting news about

CABIN FEVER
2.

Apparently Eli Roth and Lauren Moews will produce, while Ti West is helmed to
direct.
There’s no word on what the sequel will be about, but based on what Moews says
about the state of North Carolina, it should be good:

“We got turned down by the
state of North Carolina!” Moews says. “They do these incentive programs [for
film productions] and their decisions are not supposed to be based on content,
but they don’t want us anywhere near their state. They had us approved until we
sent the script in. Based on the content of our film alone, they don’t want us
around—so that’s a good sign! We’re probably the only group of

filmmakers
who have come in on a sequel to an
extremely successful

horror movie
, during a time where everyone’s making

horror movies
, to still get turned down. Apparently
we’ve clearly offended the Bible Belt.”

I don’t know what’s planned for this
one, but if the content is bad enough to offend the church, than chances are
it’ll be pretty damn good. The film will be shot as an indie, and Lions Gate is
set to distribute. To read more of what Moews has to say about
