I was just thinking the other day that SPIDERMAN hottie Kirstin Dunst hasn’t hit up the recent horror train like a lot of other young Hollywood stars (and as was her ‘first’ big role, that one doesn’t count). So it’s good to see she’s not totally out of the loop, as announced today that Dunst has just signed on to star in A JEALOUS GHOST for Paramount Vantage.

Based on an A.N. Wilson novel, GHOST

Whoa, I can’t tell if it’s a ghost story or some propaganda telling people the horrors and evils that will happen if you’re caught playing hide the salami with your college professor. Apparently the movie will steer a bit away from the book by .

Sounds like a lot of changes, though as I never read it, it could be a difficult book to adapt to the big screen as it is. Either way, it’s nice to Dunst in (or nothing at all if you catch my drift), and a ghost/demon story on top of that is always a plus. Stick around for more on A JEALOUS GHOST, like who’ll be tapped to direct, as we hear it!
