Miniguns = fun!
Props to Finnish horror fan Miikka Mononen for sending this tidbit our way.
Seems as though throughout my travels through YouTube, I never came across this little ditty. Probably because I don’t speak Finnish, and because I never typed in ‘PALLOGRILLIN PALVOJAT’, aka BALL GRILL POLICE (with a name like that, how could you not type that in?).
Directed by a group known only as ‘Anti-Teatteri’, this 15 minute short makes BAD TASTE look PG in comparison! In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of the techniques Peter Jackson used to make his classic were used in this mean number. Over-the-top acting? Yes. Heavy metal music? Check. Gratuitous violence, including a dude getting cut down in stature (if you know what I mean)? Oh yes!
