We’ve heard a lot of talk and buzz lately regarding the off-Broadway musical adaptation of Sam Raimi’s EVIL DEAD. Over the weekend we got a heads up from site reader Rick Siegel who checked it out and had this to say about it: I saw it recently and what a hoot!!! I sat in the splatter zone and had to trash my shirt due to all the blood stains!!!
That may very well be the kind of review this musical needs- based off Rick’s two cents alone, I’d check it out. He also pointed us in the direction of Broadway World, which has a few images from musical up on its site. I haven’t seen zombies dance and have this much fun since MJ rocked the house with THRILLER back in the 80s! Very cool stuff, and I must admit- the guy playing Ash actually has a pretty rockin’ look going for him – what a chin!
