The multi-billionaires at Google
have come down out of their castle’s full of naked supermodels and given us a
little post-Halloween treat.
By clicking
here
you can head
over to Google books and read some classic horror novels for free!

This is probably some of the coolest
news I’ve heard in a while. I think that people often forget, or simply ignore
the fact that many of the greatest stories ever told on screen originated inside
a book that was written decades, or even hundreds of years ago. I think everyone
should taka a little time to pick up some of the classics and give them a once
through.

Also with all this in mind, what’s
your favorite horror story? Personally Stephen King’s THE MIST still creeps me
out every time I wake up before dawn and there’s a thick fog outside. And what
horror stories do you think would make it big on the silver screen?
Even though I love classic 1931 version of DR. JEKYLL AND MR. HYDE, I would
still love to see it redone, with someone like Polanski behind the camera.
