Petty on FOD

Okay, so FACES OF DEATH is getting the remake treatment for some reason, and J.T. Petty (director of S&MAN) is the man in the chair. Petty had a tete-a-tetty (get it? Sorry…) with the dudes at Bloody-Disgusting to give details and an explanation on the film, which probably won’t consist of actual footage of people or animal deaths.

In response to the question of detials, Petty told B-D that “it’s a bit early to talk too much about what the movie’s gonna be, but yeah it’ll have a story. I think I’ve got an angle on it that’ll make it really frightening and disorienting, not just gory. But everybody at Rogue and Angry seems committed to making a strange, hard movie. Very exciting.

Exciting for some, disturbing to others. I shared what I thought last week on the film and those like it, but if Petty decides to go the 8MM route, I’m all for it. Just no monkey brains, ok?
