King for Halloween

We got a heads up from director Ryan Schifrin (ABOMINABLE) this morning about a Halloween treat he & director Adam Green (HATCHET) put together just to celebrate the coolest holiday of the year!

Every year the two get together and make a short film with the criteria being it costs NO money, is shot over ONE (or in this case, TWO) nights, and stars only their friends. It’s a pretty awesome tradition if you ask me, and the result this year… KING IN THE BOX!

It’s like a TALES FROM THE CRYPT episode starring Jack from ‘Jack in the Box’ and the King from ‘Burger King’. If you’ve ever thought those two characters were kind of creepy (like the King here- that face is just unsettling), then this is your worse (or best) nightmare, as the two duke it out for the top of the Fast Food chain.

Go ahead and click HERE to check out all the Halloween goodness! Knowing that’s it’s done on no budget in a couple nights, these two modern-day masters of horror really made a well oiled horror flick, that’s fun in vein but has the style and elements of a true and blue horror flick.

Watch KING IN THE BOX (it’s only about 5 minutes), and have yourself a blast of a good time. Man, I love Halloween!
