If there ever was a time that I wanted to see shots from the remake for DAY OF THE DEAD, it’d be today, seeing as I’m still fighting off this damn cold. You know, the kind where your whole body cinches up, you shake uncontrollably, and you have a craving for human flesh? Okay, so I didn’t have the human flesh craving, but it still felt like hell, as should being chased by these ugly buggers in these pics from Fangoria, which are the first shots from the Steve Miner-directed film.

A remake of the 1985 classic, the film stars Ving Rhames as Captain Rhodes (who will have it tough trying to surpass Joe Pilato), Mena Suvari, Nick Cannon, Michael Welch, Annalynne McCord and Stark Sands. Hit up the rest of the pics here.
