Is it too soon to start talking soundtrack rumors on George Romero’s DIARY OF THE DEAD? Maybe, but we heard from a scooper today that England-based musician Kurgan Merrick is going to compose for the flick. In the interest of full disclosure, the source is a friend of someone very close to Romero.
In other words this ain’t 100% verified by a long shot.

Nevertheless, KM’s website has a number of different songs you can download, and they all have that dark, creepy, screechy thing going on which would probably fit in well with what Diary is going for. Plus the dude kinda looks like a zombie so that can’t hurt.
