Here’s a great idea for you. Take a show that is freely available in most basic cable packages, and then charge people to watch it on their little Video IPod’s so that eye strain and wallet lightening ensue.

New Line Television announces a season pass on iTunes of Spike’s “Blade: The Series,” starting today, Tuesday, August 22. The action-adventure series’ 13-episodes are available on iTunes after they premiere on Spike. Currently, nine episodes can be downloaded. The next episode “Angels and Demons” debuts on Spike this Wednesday, August 23 and will be available on iTunes the following day. The season pass costs $22.95.
Is anybody out there seriously going to be interested in this? If so, spit bullets and explain it to me, because I’m at a loss on this one.
