First Bruce Pic

The guys over at AICN got quite the treat over the weekend, with the first screenshot for the Bruce Campbell tribute flick MY NAME IS BRUCE. No, it’s not of Bruce, but of Ted Raimi, Bruce’s evil nemesis in the film!


Raimi, who starred alongside Campbell in MAN WITH THE SCREAMING BRAIN, plays Wing, who’s the care taker of the Chinese God of War. Yeah, it’s pretty sweet. Click on that stache above to check out the whole thing.


MY NAME IS BRUCE is about what happens when an Oregon town is so desperate to rid themselves of zombies, when someone recognizes Bruce Campbell (the actor), they think he’s the character Ash from the EVIL DEAD series and ask him to save the day with a chainsaw and shotgun in hand. But really, he’s just Bruce Campbell the actor… Fun stuff is surely to ensue.


I think the premise is genius, and feel that it’ll do a lot better than the Schwarzenegger-like scenario of LAST ACTION HERO. Plus, it’s Campbell playing himself! Fighting zombies! Yeah, I don’t know what’s not to love here, this movie has it all!
