HB2 Script Review

If you simply can’t wait to check out HELLBOY 2: THE GOLDEN ARMY, when it smashes into theaters summer 2008, then today is your lucky day! Latino Review just posted up a script review, and it doesn’t look like we’ll be disappointed!

Full of spoilers and all that fun stuff (i.e., be warned), the review gave it an ‘Almost Perfect’ score of A-, so even if you don’t want to read the whole thing and save some mystery for the theater, you can at least know that so far- the script rocks and delivers the goods you so desire in a sequel.

While not giving too much away (but there are a few spoilers, so beware), here’s a quick snippet of what to expect: It’s much bigger than the first, including flashbacks to the Golden Army tearing through a human army, a troll market filled with dozens of strange monsters, a five story tall tree elemental battling Hellboy on the Brooklyn Bridge, Yokai spirits rampaging in Tokyo and a dragon attacking Moscow.

And that’s all I needed to hear! Over the top doesn’t seem to justify this flick at all, and hopefully not a whole lot changes once the film goes into production (i.e., script changes or reduction in budget). If you wanna check out the entire review, go ahead and click HERE and prepare for THE GOLDEN ARMY in theaters summer 2008!
