Buried in AfterLife

Which makes the new project AFTER.LIFE all that more appealing. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Constellation Entertainment has picked up the project for Angneiszka Vosloo to write and direct. Yes, it hasn’t been written yet, but doesn’t mean there isn’t a concept about it floating around. Check it:

The story chronicles a young woman in a transitional state between life and death who fights to avoid being buried alive and the funeral director who holds her fate in his hands.

Like purgatory, but worse. Or maybe better. Who knows, either way it’d suck to be in the middle, and most battles with morticians/ funeral directors are never pretty.

This is Vosloo’s directorial debut, and one of Constellation’s first projects, so let’s hope they both do a good job and the flick is successful (ie, let’s hope it doesn’t suck balls). Production is scheduled to begin sometime this winter, which could mean a late fall release next year. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see. So stick around, as we’ll bring you more info. on the AFTER.LIFE as we hear it!
