How anyone could think bringing back the SCREAM franchise at this point is a good idea is beyond me, but apparently those over at The Weinstein Co. haven’t entirely ruled it out.
According to MovieHole, while there isn’t a script, and David Arquette & Courney Cox-Arquette are busy doing other things (like the upcoming hippie slasher THE TRIPPER), and Neve Campbell is still undecided if she wants to reprise her role as Sydney Prescott, there will still be a SCREAM 4 at some point or another, we might just have to wait a few years to see it. Which is probably a good thing- the longer they wait, the idea of a 4th installment will probably sound like a good idea (RAMBO 4 anyone?). Let’s just hope they wait a very long time.
