Some of you may have remembered the trailer for this film a while back, and today the newly updated title GRIMM LOVE (formerly ROHTENBURG, formerly BUTTERFLY: A GRIMM LOVE STORY) has a new international poster out, and it’s about as disturbing as the story’s premise.
Starring Keri Russell, Thomas Huber and THomas Kretschmann, this is the true story of a guy who posted on the Internet that he wanted to practice cannibalism on someone… in which someone actually replied to his request. Russell plays a graduate student writing her thesis on the guy, and who eventually becomes obsessed with his same obsessions.
Like I said, that just sounds messed up, and the fact that it’s based on truth… well, that makes it even creepier. Go ahead and click HERE for a larger poster of the one you see here above. I’m diggin’ the gritty and dark nature, especially the dude here looking down at his kitchen knife… I don’t know, but it’s pretty frickin’ cool. A US release date has yet to be announced, but we’ll keep you posted as soon as we hear about it!
