Messengers Site Update

The Pang Brothers, who rocked our socks off with THE EYE and most recently RE-CYCLE, are currently in production with their first ‘American’ film THE MESSENGERS. Today the OFFICIAL SITE has gone LIVE over at Sony, and so far- so very good!

THE MESSENGERS is about evil forces (i.e. crows) who invade a sunflower farm, causing murder and mayhem to run amok. Or something like that. Just check out the Official Site and see for yourself. Some great images of creepy ass crows, a scary farm house in the middle of sunflower fields- hell, the font for the title alone is kinda freaky! Me likey!

The film stars Dylan McDermott, Penelope Ann Miller, Graham Bell and John Corbett to name a few, and is looking to hit theaters this January. For some reason, while it’s not rated as of yet, I have this feeling we’re in store for a good ol’ R rated romp in the sunflower fields! The site is barebones as far as photo galleries and trailers, but it does have a slew of webcasts (er, podcasts, if you will) that show ‘the making of’ THE MESSENGERS, and from what I checked out, it looks pretty sweet. Gotta love the making of stuff before you see the movie, as there are lots of insights to how the film will eventually turn out.
