A while back we told you about a little zombie comedy called FIDO, starring the ever hot Carrie-Anne Moss. We’ve been waiting to see when this puppy was aiming to hit theaters, and today we’re one step closer to knowing when!

Directed by Andrew Currie, FIDO is expected to open the Canada First! segment of the Toronto Film Festival on September 7th! According to the Hollywood Reporter, FIDO will be one of nine flicks debuting at the festival this year, with this section in particular devoted entirely to Canadian films/filmmakers. Good Shite!

FIDO looks like a fun ride, taking on a whole new twist on zombie film. Domesticating the dead and making them do shit like delivering the mail and walking the dog… f*cking classic! I can’t wait- and we can only hope it’s picked up for wide distribution soon. For more info. on the film festival itself, go ahead and click HERE.
