Snakes no show

In a move that should surprise exactly no one, New Line announced that they will not screen SNAKES ON A PLANE for critics prior to release. A pretty standard strategy when you’ve got a flick that will pull people in through buzz regardless of reviews. Why open yourself up to potential negative reaction when you’ve got no positive upside?

Of course, New Line simply asserts this is a decision for the fans:

“Understanding that [the fans] would be the driving force behind the film, we decided early on they should be the first to see it.”

How noble. Bullshite aside, however, it’s still SNAKES ON A MUTHAF*CKIN’ PLANE and no matter what path it takes to the big screen we’re all gonna go see it. If you don’t, you know Sam Jackson will track you down and put a boot up your ass!
