If you can’t wait for this summer’s LADY IN THE WATER, director M. Night Shyamalan has a treat in store for you! His original story is now in children’s book form, and he’s reading it aloud for all to enjoy, courtesy of Amazon.com!

LADY IN THE WATER, the children’s book version, is set and played out a bit differently than the movie does- and is considerabley less dark- so don’t worry about spoilers here. Apparently only the water nymph is the same- the rest is different.

Go ahead and click HERE and check it out. While it does take a bit of time, it’s pretty frickin’ cool to watch- and the illiustrations are neat too! He also goes into how this bedtime story morphed into a book, and later into the movie. Very cool stuff.
