Magnolia’s Severence

We’ve seen horror and comedy come together before, and the newly picked up SEVERENCE is no exception. The Hollywood Reporter has announced that the slasher comedy has been acquired by Magnolia Pictures as it’s US Distributor, and we coudn’t be happier. Why? Because this movie sounds frickin’ awesome!!!


The flick stars Danny Dyer and Laura Harris, and is directed by the same dude who directed CREEP– Christopher Smith. It tells the tale of what happens when international arms dealers go on weekend retreats in the mountains of Eastern Europe. Like, running into renegade war crazed psychos who are all pissed off and looking for blood. Yo, I hate when that happens!


Described as Dilbert meets Freddy by president of Magnolia Pictures, Eamon Bowles, this is the first I’ve heard of the movie, and I know that it sure won’t be the last! I smell a hit, and I smell some good times ahead with this bad boy! Plus, check out the above poster! Now that’s what I call a poster- me likey!
