Reality Check

There’s a few bad seeds out there that tend to ruin things for the rest of us. When you’re in school, it’s the kids that don’t clean up their messes, which enforces the rule of ‘no food’ in the classroom. And when you’re a horror fan, it’s the psycho that runs around in a Freddy Krueger outfit, stabbing people for real.

And yes, I wish I was joking about that last part, but unfortunately no, according to The Hollywood Reporter, some dude dressed as Freddy Krueger stabbed a man near Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood Saturday night. Fortunately the guy with a serious need of a reality check was arrested shortly thereafter, and the victim wasn’t seriously injured.

I can only imagine what might have happened if the victim was fatally wounded- I’m sure some sort of Freddy Krueger costume uproar would happen, and anyone who likes A NIGHTMARE ON ELM ST. would be labeled as a psycho. Thanks for ruining it for the rest of us, buddy!

But lucky for us (and the dude who was stabbed), it didn’t come to that. And since the Krueger wannabe is now sitting in jail, I’m sure his reality button is getting readjusted (well, we can only hope). To learn more about what happened, go ahead and click HERE to read the full article.
