WB’s Rest Stop

Fangoria got the scoop on the upcoming DVD release REST STOP, which is the first of the Raw Feed banner, which is the WB’s horror-straight-to-DVD line coming out this October. And while it’s a STD, it’s looking more promising that you might expect.

Starring Jaimie Alexander, Joey Mendicino and Joey Lawrence (whoa!), REST STOP is about a young couple on a road trip from Texas to California, who happen to pull into a rest stop… and then are stalked by a giant yellow truck. Sounds a bit like JOY RIDE, but definitly has potential of being a good time.

If you click HERE, you can check out a bunch of new photos from the film. I’ll tell you one thing, this thing’s gonna be bloody, and it’s gonna be gross! Not saying that that’s a bad thing, I’m just saying that’s what it is. Bloody. And that’s awesome. I can’t wait!

And who can’t be excited for Joey Lawrence? That guy’s awesome! So be sure to mark your calendar for REST STOP, which hits DVD shelves October 17th.
